ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR CAG29

Abstracts will be accepted for either oral or poster presentations and will be reviewed and accepted by the scientific committee. The abstracts are expected to be in the format as illustrated in the abstract template for Cag29 on this page. Please note that the deadline to submit abstracts is 30 June 2023.

English will be the official language of CAG29. We kindly ask all participants to prepare abstracts, posters and oral presentations in English.

ABSTRACT FORMAT

Title must be in Arial, 14pt, Bold

Authors ‘names must be in bold Arial 11pt

A, b etc The authors affiliations must be in arial italic 10pt.

Corresponding author’s email address must be provided, in italic and underlined: author1@cag29.na

Abstract.

The abstract should include the following:

• Introduction; outline of the paper; outlining the objectives, methodology used.
• Results: outlining major findings of the research.
• Discussion and conclusion: brief discussion of the results and concluding statement.

Format of abstract:

Main text should be written in Arial 11pt, single line spacing, justified, and single paragraph. Abstract should not exceed 500 words.

Keywords:  Maximum 5 words.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS OF SESSIONS, MEETING, WORKSHOPS AND SHORT COURSES

The Local organizing committee invite everyone to propose:

Sessions

All themes are allowed to have several sessions with conveners. Interested candidates, wishing to set up session, should fill in an online form ((https://cag29gsaf.org/registration) or send an email (Cag29.whk@gmail.com / Cag29@mme.gov.na) with the following:

• Session tittle (Max 150 characters including spaces)
• Short descriptions (Max 1500 characters including spaces)
• Lead conveners (name, affiliation and email address)
• Co-conveners (name(s), affiliation and email addresses)
• Keywords (max 6)
• Below to the Scientific theme number

Session proposals must be submitted by 28 February 2023.

Workshop and short courses

We invite the submission of workshop and short course proposals. Workshops will be held pre- and post Scientific Program of oral and poster sessions.  If interested to propose a Workshop / short course, please provide the following information:

• Address of the convener(s) (name, affiliation and email addresses)
• Workshop / short course tittle (Max 150 characters including spaces)
• Indicate Pre or post Scientific Program
• Short descriptions (Max 1500 characters including spaces)

Business meetings

We encourage you all to submit proposal for business meetings to be held during the CAG29 and the deadline for the submission of proposal is 1 August 2023.
